In case anyone's interested in timelines, I landed on 10 April. Got photo request around 23 May and they were delivered on 1 June. PR card application was approved on 6 July and PR card arrived in Vancouver today. Relieved to be done and done with this process at last! Good luck everyone

Thanks for this - I landed on 10 April and got a request to submit photos on 31 May (why didn't they just take the ones I had when I landed? Anyway..) and hadn't heard anything. My CIC account thingy just still says 'submitted', but I guess I just have to keep waiting. Your info is helpful...

'Regular' Ireland' - that's a new one! We're a bit irregular in the north, alright! Cheapest quote I got was from SendMyBag and it was about £135 for one large suitcase. Think it'll be cheaper to bring it with us on the flight

Good grief. There really are no patterns at all... I have refused to get excited about anything until I have the final document in my hand which I guess could be today or still weeks off. Needless to say that I'm pleased to be at the far end of this process and not starting out. Timelines etc...

No, it never made it to London at all. But I thought the original VOs were issuing PPRs, just from what I've read. Maybe I'm wrong. I'm not really bothered where it comes from, to be honest - it'll just be great when it comes through!

My app was received on 9 May then after hearing very little I got an email on 29 August saying my app, which should have gone to London, as being retained for processing in Mississauga. My full timeline is in my signature, if it's any guide.
