Anyone still waiting for PR? How goes the PR card wait now? I got mine back around mid November i guess it was. We were waiting waiting waiting for my bfs to arrive then finally we got a letter saying his photos were unacceptable and needed to be re-taken and resent. Always something isn't it :)

Good to hear Loveson. So if you landed on Aug 22 it took about 69 days for you to get your card so the website is relatively accurate. Guess i'm still 3 or so weeks away from seeing mine as i landed evening of Sep 10th.

Yippee congrats Elias. Anyone got PR card yet? I'm thinking there will be a stack being mailed in november :)

I looked at CIC website today. Saying 64 calendar days for card think it was high 40s or 50s when i landed. I guess late Nov/early Dec for my PR card. It's funny the landing doc says can't travel on this document but then immigration said you may be able to so not entirely sure which is correct...

Matt, Little while no speak. Hope you are all doing well :) Yeah, no need to "apply" for first PR card. They fill in your landing form and i guess that gets sent off to initiate the card. We got told 8-10 weeks for card, says 55 business days or something online at mo. Seems you moved quickly...

Haha, I shouldn't laugh Loveson but even when we think we are DONE the waiting continues for us. I've been a resident for less than 2 weeks so I still have a while to wait for my card :) Hope it comes faster than expected for you.

Me again :) My PPR email asked for passport, Stat Dec of Common-Law and fee/payment. I'm guessing you probably already supplied the fee and Stat Dec. I didn't send any more photos and when i got the COPR form it had a photo of me on it so i guess they still had some from the ones we submitted...

Congrats. Awesome to hear another PPR bites the dust. I guess they did 2 this week, maybe more :) Happy landing. My bf and I are off to Mexico on Monday then a week later doing our landing at Vancouver airport. Exciting!

Good question. Please remind me did you receive your PPR already or still waiting? If still waiting then you should be ok as when you send your passports to VO you should be able to include a return express post envelope with your new address (only for US addresses, not Canadian). CIC...

What? That is crazy. Even faster than Eco and i didn't think that was possible. Makes up for those extra X-rays and delays you had. Well done. Guess I win for the longest waiting time in our little batch then :) Those extra fews hours drive from Van to Whis must take 2 weeks longer for Canada...

Loveson, mine is the same. No line about medical but DM on ecas. I still haven't received my passport back. Maybe today will be the day :)

Yahoo, congrats Eco. We got our PPR the same day i think. Did you mail your passport on 13th? I sent mine 13th, arrived 17th. My ecas says DM as of y'day so hopefully i get my passport back this week or early next :) Where in Canada are you? Do you get a letter re landing etc? Thanks. W
