Should be pretty fast, just don't know whether they would consider it incomplete or would send a request for the police certificate. I'm so worried now

I'm so scared now because I only submitted one for Canada, but not for my home country. While the cic account's police certificate states "multiple" my account currently also states "we do not addition documents". I don't know what to do, I can't submit any additional documents to the account...

But after 18, if you returned, and in total it amounts to more than 6 months, you will require one right?

@sasakaka, congratulations on your PPR! You didn't submit the HKPCC initially when you applied, did you? Did cic notify you to submit one from HK? Cuz I didn't submit PCC from my home country because I have never spent for more than 6 months since I came to Canada, I wonder whether I need to...

Don't really know, there are a few of us having medical passed in early April and BG still remained as "The next is to conduct a background check." And there are also a few whose BG didn't change after 50ish days and still got PPR. I guess we will just have to wait a little longer.

I called and emailed cic, got a reply saying that my file is currently being processed at Ottawa as per regulatory timelines. The phone rep said that my eligibility is still under review, and they haven't started background check, which is exactly the same as what the cic account currently states.

I haven't had any update since my medical passed on in April, which scares me while seeing other people having a good flow of updates. Sometimes I wonder whether I have a lot of traveling histories that make my NBG to NA such a long process.

same here. When did you pass your medical exam? Mine passed on April 6th, and BG has remained as NS. I called cic a few days ago and they said they are reviewing my eligibility but hasn't started background check yet. This waiting...

Hi @Mann18, do you know what process has been done when BG changes from NS to NA? Mine has remained as "The next step is to conduct background check" since early April, don't know when it will change to NA.
