It beggars belief how Beijing / Taipei /Tokyo / Seoul - have so much faster Processing times, 4-6 months - while SG straight 20months - if it's the load then why can't they distribute it to other offices and reduce the timescale overall - not everyone in-process here is living here - IE...

looks like standard procedure that they requested copies of latest passport details for the file - it doesn't mean the application is being processed

I've been to the place back in nov 2010 when they sent my app here rather then london, i saw 2 people and 1 was the receptionist , she said the guy who processes the app's was on leave :o ... so i guess this guy is still on leave ;D

I had requested mine tobe sent to London, but as i'm resident in singapore at the moment CPC saw fit to send it here instead without checking what VO was requested - waiting is part of the process but the lack of communication and unwillingness to reply to emails is what really sucks in this VO...

Don't expect any update from SG office this year, unless they have a much needed revamp of their slow processing model- many of us who applied in Oct with straight forward cases are still awaiting any sort of news - are you in SG or canada?

checking it daily ;D - i'm flying back to london for 3 weeks on july so hoping either it's done in june or i might have to wait till i get back to hand over PP, does anyone know how long they keep it for stamping ?
