Before ordering GCMS notes see where your application is stuck, sometimes it helps calling them as when you call it shows up on your tracker as ‘we have received your inquiry’ or something of the sorts. That might nudge the application officer to pick up your file again if they just dropped it...

Did you call ircc and asked what part of your background check is done and what else is left? Like security, criminality and info sharing

Wait for the PPR. We cannot say as you had a PFL before. You should be getting a Pre Arrival letter and soon after your PPR, if not along with it. Don’t speculate anything right now. Let’s wait for the PPR which should be arriving any day now if everything went well.

They’re are taking 10 to 15 business days to process pr visas. That is 15 to 20 calendar days. Mine came at 19 calendar days. It could take more but I have not seen less than that.

Since you’re posting on a fsw Outland thread I am assuming you’re currently outside Canada. RFV is ready for Visa which is a email you receive from IRCC also known as PPR or passport request. P1/P2 which are portal emails and for which you are need to create a portal login is for applicants...

That changes things then. Sorry about generalizing. But in majority of applications fd with a date and no pfl or adr means you’re almost guaranteed a ppr request at that point. But a previous pfl makes that a fifty fifty chance I guess. Could go either way I guess. Obviously not to scare the OP...

Highly unlikely. IRCC doesn’t reject applications like that. They give applicants every chance they can by additional document requests or adr, pfl or procedural fairness letter. You should get your passport request very soon along with a pre arrival letter. Although the pre arrival letter may...

Give them whatever you can gather about that job and it should be sufficient enough. They want to see that you worked in the position that you’re claiming to have worked on. If they require anymore information from you they’ll send you an adr (additional document request) or else you’ll be good...

It would be better if you provide IRCC the refusal letter through web form. If not they might see it as misrepresentation. Since your application is currently ongoing. Webform will be the only way to provide them with this info. Good luck.

You can order GCMS notes or CBSA notes based on your requirements to check where your are in your background check process. How long it will take will solely depend upon what’s the current status of application and background check.

Got the ready to collect message from vfs a couple hours ago and went to vfs global and picked up our stamped passports along with our copr. Best wishes to everyone waiting for their passports.

Yeah could be. I’m not sure if the number of passports could be the reason for delays. I think they do it in bulk. But I might be just speculating here.
