Hi everyone, finally landed at canada. Sorry been away from my phone for quite a while. The process was smooth as have been said by other members. Though, I got my documents on the day of my trip. Really traumatizing I must say but Thank God all went for good.

Indeed they can be. After sending them email this morning, got a call from them almost immediately. Asking if I already booked a flight and I said yes and she asked what day, I told her. She said she will get back to me later and I'm still waiting for pum till now. Really frustrating indeed.

Good day all, my visa will be expiring on the 7th of December. Sent in my passport on the 21st of November and up till now Accra hasn't sent me pick up mail. Any need to worry?

I just sent my passport and other docs to AVO now, I had no computer to work with and I checked other forums on IMM008 and they said is not compulsory it must be filled on a computer to validate the form. But I 'll visit a cafe today and see if I can fill it there then print and send to their...

So I can just print the IMM 008 I filled when submitting the application and send it like that?

Nothing has actually changed since we submitted. But the initial application we submitted was printed and hand fill. In fact we did nothing on computer.

I spent almost 4 hours looking for ways to download it, finally I succeeded. But I don't have a computer for now, was wondering if to fill online is the best as I saw something about barcode, but I printed a copy anyways. Need advice about filling with hand or computer which is advisable?

My background check have been showing in process since on Friday. That's the only change on my account.
