    It won't turn into an immigration interview. You just need the appointment to pick up your documents, you can't just show up. That is up to you to use Poste italiane or Vatican post lol...i dont think there is any difference

    I don't know about dropping off, but i'm sure that you can go pick it up on your own. The only thing is that you have to set up an appointment with them, you can't just show up there to pick it up...anyways you will get an email that explains to you everything when you get PPR. :)
