    Yes getting from passport office is a safe bet. It takes only 1 day to get it. Why bother going around police stations.

    1. If you are not visiting back India, then get the PCC from there already. It will remain valid as long as you don't visit back until E-APR. 2. If you are expecting ITA and have your file ready. Then apply FBI PCC else wait until ITA Both of you will need police clearance and medical as well.

    Your R10 is done. R10 means agent checked and confirmed all your documents are there. A11.2 is when visa officer reviews all documents and information and ensures you meet eligibility criteria. I don't know if this is done at CIO or CPC. More experienced people could comment...

    LVO means Local Visa Office. If you are in india then it will be New Delhi office. If you are in canada then it can be Ottawa, Vegreville etc.
