Alf mabrouk!! We have been waiting for our application for 28 months now and background still not done :( Our application was in amman but they transferred it to Bucharest last year. Inshallah we hear something soon

Nope nothing new. I mailed CSIS regarding the Background check so im hoping they will write back to me. But they said on the website that it takes up 8 weeks for them to reply.

How long has your security been processing and what country are you applying from?

Omg 3rd medical!!!! Thats ridiculous. Our second medical will expire in 2 months and im afraid they will ask for a third one. Although our visa office is Bucharest

I know i totally agree. Have you tried to contact your MP? Or order your notes? Is yours also stuck at background check because it seems that most people are stuck there

What do you mean by background declaration? I applied March 2015 and still nothing. So hopeless at this point How many times did they ask you for your medical? And where are you applying from??

Omg so was your application processing from 2007 to 2014 ?!!! Whats the reason it is taking this long

Yes i have ordered them.. everything seems ok just waiting for background check . I emailed the embassy they said Background checks can take more than one year So depressing

No, our application is in Bucharest VO. Im appplying from Iraq. Processing time is 20 months but i know many people who got their visas within a year. My friend also sponsored her hsuabnd from same country and he came within 5 months!!! I have a lawyer, requested notes and it seems everything...

Sigh, i agree. I am a March 2015 applicant. We have 3 kids. Background started Novembrer 2016. Still waiting :( cant believe 2017 applicants are gettin PPR

I have done the same thing as you. It does not change the course of the application at all . You just need to update them that you are now waiting for him in Canada.

From my understanding Jordan didnt even work on our application and I assume because they were busy processing the applications for refugees and they were backlogged. They said they transferred it to Bucharest for "faster processing" but it has been there for 10 months :( They also kept askig...

Heyy How long have you been waiting? Im applying from Iraq but Jordan was handling our application then a year and a half later they transferred it to Bucharest. And here I am 26 months later still nothing :(
