You're right, there are a lot of kinks in the system still :( 1. My husband started his police check about 15 days before we submit our application, and then recieved his police check at almost exactly the same time as we got the request to upload it. I would recommend requesting it any time...

I don't know about medical, but with our police certificate we didn't hear from them for another week or two after it expired, and then they emailed saying that we needed to get a new one.

I'm pretty sure that once you upload a document to your account then the option to upload the document disappears, so you'd need to upload the certificate and the translation together. I would definitely call and email and explain the situation and ask for an extension if you don't think that...

Does anyone know what we do with the new police check once we bring it to the embassy? My husband is worried about how he'll know who to give it to lol. Like is there a mailbox to put it in, or should he go inside and give it to someone?

We got an email from Havana a few days ago saying they just need a new police certificate to finish the case. Thankfully we already applied for a second police check a few weeks ago so we just have to wait for them to call us and go pick it up, and drop it off at the embassy. So at least we know...

Hi all, I checked our accounts today and it says we have passed our medical! Does anyone know what comes next? I assume the interview is next but will they send us an email about it or should I email them and ask?

Ours started processing in Havana on May 24th and since then we've only heard from them once, when we got the medical request back in July. Since then we haven't even heard the results of the medical exam and our account says they are still reviewing those. I emailed too and they never answered...

We got a message in the cic account and an email telling us that we had the message inside of the account to go check. But she did say that it could take a few days!

This is the same for me, called in the afternoon and next morning we had the request and instructions in our account.

We also never received ours so I called and the next morning we got the instruction email and the request for uploading Schedule A and PCC in our account, but she did say it could take a few days, I think it might depend on the visa officer.

I called cic yesterday and told the woman that I talked to about how we didn't receive our request for schedule a and PCC, and she said she sent a note to the visa officer to send it again and didn't tell us to submit through IRCC we form, but to submit a technical issue there so we didn't miss...
