On the cic website, they just put on a notice to clarify the issue you mentioned. "You may see an incorrect application status asking for additional documents. If you actually need to send any documents, you will see a message in your account and a letter explaining what you need to do."...

Stay positive dude. I'm March 4 applicant and background check is still N/A in my cic account. I guess they will start doing something next week.

I am hoping that we can have background changed into in progress by the end of this week.

March 4, background still N/A. I thought we could have something yesterday....

The only thing we can do is staying positive. Let's see if they will give us something good next week!

Hi bro, thank you for the update. I just checked my cic and I find that my medical status changed from not needed to in prograss, even though there is no MR yet. Anyone knows how long it takes to receive the MR after this? my application was received on March 4th,2016.

Me too! Applied on March 4, AOR April 6 and RPRF fee Sep 16. As far as I know, the last group applicants who got their ME paid their RPRF fee on Sep 12. Let's wait for the next wave of ME rain.

My friend who applied approximately on Feb 10, 2016 and she got the reminder a week earlier than me (Sep 12). Her MR was arrived on Feb 1. Hopefully we will get MR by end of Feb or at least early March. Stay positive.

Me too, I find upfront medical didn't help at all from the whole process perspective. When did you pay the RPRF? I got the reminder letter on September 16.

Just want to say, stay positive guys, waiting is killing but we are going towards the end. Be strong, ME will come, PPR is not far.
