I am really confused now by what all you guys have said does that mean, if my application is refused then I would have overstayed here, and it can cause trouble for my PR application?

I am aware that you need LMIA to support your Work permit extension but i filed it anyways to buy some more time. While the application is in process i can keep working. It's most probably gonna get rejected :(
