my daughter's application was quite straight forward, just paid 62.40 for courier. but am seeing something new (not seen in past OCI applications from the family). BLS tracking site shows underprocess, but also shows "comments" which is our full address and today's date and afternoon time stamp...

these are a part of the checklist. minor documentation says cover these n these points above (which includes SC and CC), and in addition to that minor documentation.

CoPR is never asked for in OCI documentation - neither to be uploaded online nor to be shown/submitted in person.

don't staple. arrange in the order of items mentioned on the checklist (this is also mentioned on the checklist itself). no envelope; you'll be handing over all documents as a set across the counter.

this feels so bad. simple and inexpensive steps made so costly by them.

not sure how long ago was that as they keep changing processes without notice. i was categorically told not even a family member. anyways, if someone wants to test their luck/BLS processes, they can.

then i think the rules would've changed (i guess it has been a year since you took yours). i have the notice in my hand that i was asked to sign - that says no authorizations allowed, applicant to visit (except minors).

have you personally used this option? i have (i tried), at both locations, they even gave me this notice to sign (@abbas.pasha how to share a photo here?).

i can only answer with personal experience (had a similar doubt myself too) - took photos with us, asked them if okay then will paste them. application was signed already by us and luckily it had no issues. others may have done it differently.

an adult's OCI can not be picked up by someone else. these are specific instructions BLS (Brampton and Toronto) wants you to acknowledge when you opt for counter pick up.
