I have started application forms for Master's Program in Concordia University and University of Victoria. In Academic background section, it is listed Bachelor of Engineering, but my degree credential is Bachelor of Technology. There is no option such as 'other'. Is B.E. and B.Tech considered...

I am planning to apply for master's degree programme in Canadian Universities. I have scored 7 bands in IELTS, but I could manage to score only 6 in writing section. My score meets minimum criteria of certain universities. Do I need to take IELTS test again in order to improve the chances ?
