They didnt send an email jorlando. They called my wife on monday to confirm the address and tuesday she got the passport in medellin. We used servientrega to mail it to them , im not sure who the embassy used to mail it to us. My wife is coming on friday to toronto sponsoring123.

The embassy called my wife yesterday to confirm her home address but the person hung up before she could ask when they are sending it. Hopefully its on the way.

Hi Jorlando. We have not heard anything either. Ecas still says in process. They wrote you back? We have sent emails to the address you gave me and to the one on the site, but both of them have not responded. Not even to confirm that they have my wife's passport.

Hey Jorlando. Nothing yet and ecas still says in process. I see you said there was a mixup with the embassy not finding your passport when you sent it. How were you able to contact them to confirm that they received it?

Congrats Sponsoring123!! That's great news. My ecas still says in process. My wife's passport was received by the embassy on the 26th so hopefully we get some good news next week.

Thanks for the responses jorlando and sponsoring. That's good to hear, hopefully we get good news soon. The government has invested $25 million to make the family sponsorship process faster in 2017 so hopefully the ones that are still waiting wont have to wait much longer.
