I did contact our local MP regarding our application. We received only generic answers such as longer processing times due to Covid-19, backlog, etc. I filled out a Webform on March 12, 2022. No response so far.

Still waiting. No test invite. Background completed in September. I'm sick and tired.

Apparently, my file is STILL IN SYDNEY. I live in NL and there is a local IRCC office here in St. John's (NL). Why didn't IRCC send my file to IRCC-Local-Office in Newfoundland? Any idea? PS: BG completed in September 2022.

They didn't ask me or my wife for fingerprints at all, and our BG checks were completed in September. Perhaps they do not ask every applicant for fingerprints as a standard procedure.
