Most of the applicants recieve fake updates like this. I think it means they are processing your application and checking the different requirements to get the visa. Lets say its in the way to be approved ;)

Anyone heard something from Abu Dhabi visa office today???

Unfortunately many applications had been refused for whom applied in April and May. So let us hope that this is a good sign if you did not hear something from them yet ... chu12, I think you have to give it a try and visit the visa office ..

Applications from both countries are processed in Abu Dhabi visa office, and one week extra for courier services as I guess. I think this more logical than before (5 weeks for Qatar and 12 weeks for uae) ::)

I think your application was processed in Riyadh. Anyway, dont worry the vac will do the job but maybe it will take some time for the courier service.

Do you know what was the reason of the refusal?

By the way, your application was a family or individual application?

I applied on 21st of April through Abu dhabi vfs and still waiting for their decision ... You can send them a case specific enquiry and hopefully they will reply to you soon. I will do that next week. Unfortunately some applicants applied on April but they got negative responses from the visa...

If you applied on paper then you can check the status through vfs website using the tracking number. This status shows that your application is under process. If you link your application though cic then yes the status will be as you mentioned

Sorry I have no clue which method is better. Anyway I will send them a case specific inquiry. It might go to the related department directly.
