I know that he has to apply for a student and a work visa, but I am just wondering, with these high...

Thank you! Yesterday, I received the GMCS notes that haven't been updated since they received our file, and today we get the RPF request. I honestly thought that they hadn't done anything to our application, but it turns out they just didn't update it.

I'm from Romania and they received our application on July 4th. We had a very straightforward application, no red flags, I live with my husband in Romania and he's already been to Canada twice (has a tourist visa valid for 5 years, and a US visa valid for 10 years; maybe that helped speed things...

Amman - Spousal Since January 2012 or Late 2010

I completely agree that it's discrimination, why are applications from the US and other "western" countries processed within 3-6 months? However, I don't think that talking to your MP would solve anything since you applied 14 months ago, and the processing time for your country is 23 months.

Amman - Spousal Since January 2012 or Late 2010

It could be because the processing time for Romanian applicants is 14 months, while for Jordanian ones it's 23 months. As well, considering what's currently going on in the Middle East, it must not be easy for them to obtain the information that they need.

    IT Jobs

Yeah, he has a bachelor's and a master's degree in computer science, and we had it assessed by WES, so he basically has the Canadian equivalent of a master's degree in CS. We are not from an English speaking country but he works for a multinational telecom operator (larger than Bell/Rogers) and...

Hi all I wanted to get some feedback from you regarding programming jobs in either Toronto or Montreal. My husband is a seasoned PHP developer with more than 6 years of experience and he has recently been promoted to project manager. As we are both currently in Europe, I am not sure how easy it...

I'm not sure where it says that, but if your family member is proved to be costly to the Canadian medical system, then she cannot be sponsored.

finances required to sponsor daughter to canada

If your daughter is over 18, then you can't sponsor her, she'd have to come on her own.
