Please reply back to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca. I had a similar situation when I wanted to inquire about my PP sent for TRV. And the officer responded back with proper information.

Mostly when you're outland. It actually doesn't make sense since CIC officer does similar assessment for funds and blah during application processing. In our case, PNP guys did the same.

I think at some point they have to be made more answerable to applicants and more visible to the applicant they are processing application for. The very fact that the officer will never be interfacing with the applicant and hence can take whatever time he/she wants, makes them act at their own will.

All those who haven't got MR yet, please keep checking your myCIC account periodically. It could be in there with a request letter PDF.

Well your myCIC should show in documents like "We need an additional doc...". That won't change. But if your Backgroundcheck hasn't change, then I'd suggest you call CIC or send them query thru CSE asking if they still need the documents or have they received it....

Did you notice a change in Background check since then..?

This is not MR. It should have an IMM form attached.
