Did you folks see the Dec 2020 list? 12% got their invites already. A lot of online applications got through, while tons of people from 2019 are still waiting. The way they process it is a joke

My ecas now shows "application received" and also lists my current address with the button to update it. No signs of my wife though, just lists a single applicant. UPD. shows my wife's info too using her pr card number instead of UCI

How do you folks check the status in ECAS if you don't have AOR yet? What identification do you provide to the form? I tried everything from PR card number (dashes/no dashes) to UCI and basically any numbers I found from any previous communication with CIC and I always get this reply:

There's been an email from cic saying "we're still working on your application". Included in that email was my old PR application number. A few other people got the same one. CIC sent another email after that with an apologies. no AOR so far, so it's been 5 months for me a few days ago yeah...

Sooo, got my COPR today! Super excited. My timeline so far looks this: Aor: Aug 13 Golden letter: Sep 12 Docs sent via xpress mail: Sep 17 Delivered Sep 19 Application updated: Oct 5, docs sent back to me the same day. Recieved today !

Hi guys, is there anyone on this forum who's been through the same situation: most of my work experience is freelance/contractor. Wondering if I have to mark it as "self-employed" since can't really find anywhere the description of what is considered of "self-employed" thanks!
