Hi Guys, I submitted my application on march 3. I am a PNP outland applicant but since then I have seen no updates on my case, not even medicals passed. Is this normal? anyone else in the same boat.

If you are in Canada then you don't really have to go the border to do the landing. it can be done at one of the offices here. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=748&top=22

You will need to renew your SIN card. Its no hassle, just go to any service Canada office. Its quick and easy. And also get your health card renewed at the same same time (and in most cases at the same location).
