Applied on the 4th of May in Abu Dhabi Got passport request (approval) on 25th July.

So I got my study permit and I booked my flight from Dubai to Edmonton with a transit in Toronto. What happens in Toronto? Do they give me my study permit in Toronto or does that happen in Edmonton? Also, what documents do I need and will they interview me at the airport? Thanks!

They tell everyone that the processing time is 8 weeks. It's not true. The processing time according to the CIC website is 11 weeks. I got mine in exactly 11 weeks and 5 days. I doubt you'll get yours in time. Have you thought about deferring your admission to the next semester?
