Thanks! Our background check actually went in process a few days before they sent the document request, so the next stage should be DM (or receipt of documents if they ever choose to update it!). :)

Congrats! ;) Same thing for us! They received our docs (proof of intent + new passport photos) on October 3rd and no news yet. I hope we'll get DM soon and that the delay wont be more than a month. MyCIC hasn't been updated since they asked for the additional documents and it's been 23 days...

Sorry to hear you're having the same problem (and I'm sure we're not the only ones!). This is so frustrating. They could at the very least acknowledge reception when they ask for documents, especially when we have to provide them quickly. Still no news for us today, so we're going to drop them...
