Thanks. CIC sent it Newfound Land or Canada Post mis-delivered it to Newfound land instead of Ontario, which is a big oversight. CIC says they sent it to Ontario where as Canada Post say the package was likely marked for NL. There is no proof from CIC or CP to confirm the address mentioned on...

Has anyone come across a case where CIC or Canada Post lost a foreign passport which was sent to CPC Ottawa for Visa stamping? What was the experience in trying to recover the passport from them? Can a legal procedure be followed for their irresponsibility?
