I think back logs wont affect much as long as you can write a strong Letter Of Explanation for why you want to study your proposed course......I guess Post Graduate degree might be good option for you.......

My Medical Passed on Oct 30 and got my passport request on Dec 4.......so not to worry they are taking time.......you guyz might be received passport request soon! best wishes!

When they sent me a letter asking for Original Passport........it stated that passport should be received by CIC within 30 days of the letter ! So, I guess 30 days is the limit.......but since festive season is soon to begin they will request earlier!

Don't worry I think they will process all the applicaitons before Dec 20.........otherwise it will be late for Jan intake and sadly need extension from the college.........so hope they will be processing most of the applications within the coming week!

I applied on Oct 11 online.........got medical request on oct 21........medical passed oct 30........got passport request on Dec 4(exactly 5 weeks)........Passport reached New Delhi Dec 10..........waiting to get stamped and deliverd !

I think Post-Graduate Course in Network Security in the University of Winnipeg,Manitoba might also be helpful for you.....its a one-year course and with this profile I am sure you will get a visa !

first thing is "university should issue you an Offer letter!" Once you receive the offer letter, the visa chances depends upon how strong your Financial docs are and your letter of explatation/statement of purpose,You must be able to convince the officer via your S.O.P,......

I think Online is more effecient..........you just scan you original documents and upload in MyCIC account instead of paper-based with bulks of paper sending to CIC......its your choice......

Yes as far as I know once the medical is passed.......you will surely get the visa........its just that they are taking long time than usual........so, soon they will be requesting the Original Passport to stamp the visa.........just wait for some days..........best wishes

there is a notice that online service is down........but when I login to my CIC account it is working fine for me, No any problem at all..........and regarding the waiting time...........I got my original passport request after 5 weeks after medical...........I applied from Nepal and Application...

4 weeks after medical........still waiting........applied online at New Delhi processing time is normally 3 weeks.........starting to worry now.........
