I received a request letter for more documents on Nov. 3. I upload everything on Nov. 4. Should I receive a confirmation for this submission? I'm asking because I emailed the Los Angeles Office and the reply is "please check the request letter sent to you on Nov. 3 and comply as soon as possible"

When they asked for your passport, what's your online status? Did it say your study permit is approved? Or "a final decision is made - not started"? I thought they will only ask for your passport if your student permit is approved, but I did saw a lot of posted their visa is rejected.

Can anyone explain the situation to me? Because originally I thought that CIC will only ask for your passport after your study permit is approved, and that if they request your passport, you are golden... What is your online status when they requested your passport?

Wait, before you send your passports to them, you are already approved of study/ work permits right? So after that, you can still get rejected??
