neither side has DM. I didn't get any communication before. So yeah, probably an interview. Which is worst case scenario, since I can't get my work permit yet due to the fact I was just barely out of status when I applied for PR. This sucks.

Ok, thank you. Will this have a negative effect on my PR application at all? My brain is scrambled from this stress I guess. Such simple things I misread or forget. You are surely much appreciated on this board.

Ah I am mistaken about the new package then. I was on a visitor's visa when I applied and didn't bother extending afterwards because I was assured that while my application is in progress I am safe with my status. As for the fee for OWP, I have two receipts from CIC, one for $1040 and one for...

Application for Permanent Residency by means of Spousal Sponsorship was received by CIC in Sept of 2016(the "new" package including work permit). Anyone know when I should expect my work permit? I'm not sure exactly how it works with the work permit.

Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2016 timeline and updates

My application was recieved on September 14th, 2016. Should I be expecting news soon? Also, I submitted a Police certificate that was over one year old but I did not leave Canada since the certificate was issued. Would that cause problems?

    Spousal Sponsorship Medical Exam

The message I got from CIC says nothing about giving a reason for surpassing a timeline or anything like that. I sent another inquiry though, hopefully I'll actually get a response this time.

    Spousal Sponsorship Medical Exam

The earliest appointment I could grab for my Immigration medical exam was past the 30 day cutoff that I'm supposed to have it done by. Is my application going to be denied? I sent a question to CIC with the webform and I've gotten no answer. It's been two weeks.

I've had many people tell me that the call center is useless, and I've already submitted a query through the webform

My thoughts exactly. From the time that the police certificate was issued til now I have not left Canada. Why would I need a new one?

    Worried with no response

I've been contacted about needing a police certificate, and I began the process as soon as I got the letter. The letter said I had 60 days to mail a new police certificate, which is an impossible time frame from scratch.
