Consequences of a delayed police certificate

For family sponsorship, IRCC gave us 2 months to send them police certificate from one of the countries. There was a delay in postal delivery and the application form to obtain the police clearance reached the police department after 1 month and 1 week. So there are only 3 weeks left till the...

    September 2021 *OUTLAND* SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

Yes, I have checked the tracker and only 2-3 applicants don't have their AOR date populated and I am not sure if this is because they haven't received their AORs or if they have, but they just haven't updated the tracker. So I wanted to post and hear directly from people who might be in the same...

    October 2021 *OUTLAND* SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

Thank you for your feedback. It definitely does not make sense that completeness check can take months. Someone at IRCC is not doing their job properly. I don't understand how their system can be so inefficient . What I am afraid of most is if they find something wrong with the application they...

    October 2021 *OUTLAND* SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

Hello everyone, I submitted an outland spouse sponsorship application ONLINE in September 2021. It's going into the 8th month and we haven't received AOR or any other communication from IRCC. Even January 2022 applicants have received their AORs. I have been checking all kinds of IRCC tracking...

How to prepare to apply online from outside Canada?

If the sponsor is a Canadian citizen (and not a PR), then he doesn't necessarily have to be in Canada to apply - as long as the visa officer is convinced that they will return to Canada after the sponsorship application is granted, then it is all good.

    Outland Sponsorship Online Application

Hello All, I am also applying online. I am not hand-signing any of the application forms and leaving signature spots blank as the instructions say we do not need to sign. Is this your understanding as well?

Uploading printed photos for spouse sponsorship

Thanks for your response. I am talking about the passport-sized photo that is required for the application (I am not talking about wedding photos). The passport-sized photo needs to be 50mm x 70mm if you mail the application. But if the application is submitted online then we need to upload this...

Uploading printed photos for spouse sponsorship

Hello, we have printed 50 mm x 70 mm photos, and will be uploading them for online spouse sponsorship. We plan to scan and upload it, but then the picture may seem very large on a computer screen. Does anyone have experience scanning uploading 50 mm x 70 mm printed photos for online...

Spouse sponsorship - Information about previous examination

Hell All, In the Document Checklist for Spouse Sponsorship, there is a question: Information about Previous Examination (to be completed by the sponsor): The person I am sponsoring was declared as my spouse or partner and was already examined as a non-accompanying dependent when I applied for...

    Police Certificate clarification

Thank you all for your response! The principal applicant is 22 years old and has lived in one of the European countries for consecutive 6 months + 3 days. Other than that she has lived in her country of origin the entire time. So my interpretation is that she does not need a PC from that...

2011 (May-November) Parents sponsorship applicants join here

If you go back a few pages in that thread, you can see. Basically there are a couple of them from that thread that received sponsorship approval and had their files transferred to Ottawa/LVO for 2nd stage of processing. One has received medical exam request. And a few others have had their ecas...

2011 (May-November) Parents sponsorship applicants join here

You don't belong to 2011 or 2014 batch, but you belong to 2015 batch and are hoping that maybe CIC would continue their unfairness and put 2015 batch in front of 2011 files too. So you are concerned about our complaints and are trying to downplay the unfairness that the 2011 batch is facing in...

2011 (May-November) Parents sponsorship applicants join here

I received my caips notes last week and it was useless. It just says case pending review by the officer. I think unless there is a problem specific to the application itself, then caips notes don't help much. And it seems that there is a general problem with May - Nov, 2011 batch, and it is not...

WHEN YOUR PARENT SPONSORSHIP 2014 APPLICATION REACHED CPC-M? UPDATE HERE...

It's not about 2014 cases being processed before "some of the a bit more complex 2011 applications". There isn't a single May - Nov, 2011 application for which the sponsorship has been approved. So it's not about some complex ones, it's about the whole May - Nov, 2011 batch. And that tells there...

You applied in 2016. Imagine in 2021, they start processing 2019 applicants ahead of you. Would you still lecture people about social harmony, Canadian culture, blah blah?

You seem one concerned 2014/post-2014 applicant that our complaints might slow down your processing. I give absolutely zero credit to this government for this kind of unfair processing.
