Thanks Stealth Assassin! Appreciate the promptness. Just a quick follow up. Was this trip you took fairly recent? Just wondering if there were any changes recently.
Hi guys,
It's been a while since I last posted on this forum and I'm not sure if anybody has replied to this question before but would really appreciate if somebody can respond to my question.

Hi guys,
It's been a while since I last posted on this forum. I had a quick question about traveling to USA on personal vehicle while I still wait for my PR card. As per CIC, as long as I'm traveling on personal vehicle (including rental vehicle) and carrying COPR and passport, the officer at...
Nice. NYC to Calgary is as extreme as it can get. I am sure we will miss US for a bit but, considering most of us are moving after a considerable suffering from US Immigration system, I think it will be a welcome change. Stability is possibly what all of us were looking for and that is what we...
Guys,
My attorney confirmed at EOD yesterday that he had received my COPR and stamped passport. I should be getting it today.
It took exactly 2 weeks for CPC to stamp and send back the documentation. Hope things move faster for those still waiting.
That is true. The 11 months should be counted from the date application was received. I am guessing if you filed on Oct 24th, the date they received your application won't be too far along.
Guys, it is true that the CIC representatives don't have any idea as to what is happening. I had been calling them since the day the processing times were updated to 11 months. I am currently at 13 months. During one of my many calls to them, I was lucky to have a more knowledgeable...
True. Plus when I first joined the forum couple of months ago, somebody told me that very few applicants receive Decision Made Line 4 update before PPR. Not sure how accurate this was but Line 5 is just PPR in my case. And now we see all sorts of lines being added to ECAS. I guess as long as...
Here you go man..
1. We received your application for permanent residence on August 1, 2014.
2. We started processing your application on December 31, 2014.
3. Medical results have been received.
4. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this...
Harry - Not sure if this would help our not but my ECAS was updated yesterday as well. Even though Line 4 had decision made update, they added line 5 as follows:
"5.We sent you correspondence on September 11, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please...
Interesting. I wasn't aware of this. So are you suggesting that once we land, we can leave and enter Canada (using our COPR) by road from US even if we haven't received our PR card yet? Just trying to improve my knowledge ;D
