Worked just fine for me

I just submitted the e-medical and passport to VAC. I took the form to VAC but they didnt require so gave it back. Infact it was just a photocopy of e-medical not even the original form.

In case anyones wondering, my medical status changed to "passed" soon after and I had no problems with the medical alhamdulillah and I have received visa approval now as well. I had the medical screening before the medical request and sent my eMedical once I got the request.

Alhamdulillah got my visa approval letter today on mycic. Can anyone tell from experience when should I be able to collect the passport?

Status hasnt changed but I emailed them and told them about the form I sent after getting medical done. Since it is weekend I am expecting a response on monday. But why would I have to get medical done again as I have already done and cleared it.

It seems like the online applicants have not heard from cic no matter when they applied. I applied on 12th May online and haven't heard from cic ever since.

Another question... does anyone have an idea how long after submitting medicals do you receive visa? My classes start on 3rd sept and I need to be there before that. Unfortunately I havent heard back from CIC for 2 and a half months and im extremely short on time. If visa delays just a few weeks...
