I have a friend who applied on paper in the middle of June (paid the full amount). She called CIC today and they told her that they haven't done any paper applications past June 5th yet. So, their delays are huge and not only for online applicants.

Got an email from CIC this morning saying that my application has been updated. Logged into my CIC account and it says that the application has been approved, status - closed. Finally!!!!! ;D Paid $155 when applied, then paid $100 July 2nd and uploaded the receipt in about a week through CSE...

Yeah, I got that one too (also on Friday) - email and no actual changes.
