    Maybe the translator that you used long time ago is not part at this moment of the list of certified translators in Colombia for Canada. No idea. I do my translations in Canada and the company that does it send it to the notary.

    I would ask that question to a lawyer. I believe it could be risky if he does it inside Canada, but I am not a lawyer.

    Did you certified your translation in a notary? They asked for certified translations. When I do my certified translations, the translator send it to a notary in Ontario (even if already comes from a notary from another country).

    I signed the notary form using an online notary. They scanned it and sent me the final pdf. Yes, I paid the fees but they haven't returned my money back and they did not mentioned anything in the AOR
