I'm so frustrated, my lawyer said they want to give us a hard time in getting a date for ADR, don't know if they want to send us to full hearing. So much time going and nothing being done. This system is so sick...putting everyone's lives on hold. You make plans for your future and then this...

Just new evidence you have to submit, don't resend anything that you already sent to them.

Still haven't heard anything about a date for ADR yet :( I'm going in September to spend 3 months with my husband so that will be good.

Wintersnow, On what date did they notify you about your ADR date in August? I just want to get an idea of how long it takes, I appealed on Jan 26 and received my blue book in mid April...still waiting for ADR date

Are you doing an appeal? The times varies from case to case and also each visa office has their own time on how long they take to process your visa.

Unfortunately, ecas wont update for this part. It will start updating again when you win the appeal and your file goes back to the visa office to continue processing. The ADR process suppose to finish within a year, but when you win ADR and your file goes back to the visa office for processing...

It all depends if you will get a full hearing or ADR. Full hearing takes a long time but ADR is faster. If your case is straightforward and can be resolved rather quickly IAD will give you ADR.

hoaphuong2013 I'm in toronto too. I filed my appeal in January so I'm 6 months into this process already. I'll keep you guys updated on how things are progressing with me so those who are a few months behind or just getting started in the process will have an idea as to how long each step takes.

It doesn't make a difference if you send the appeal form or the lawyer. Once you send the appeal form it will get everthing started. Before your lawyer can present a case for you, you will have to receive the blue book which is basically the whole file of your sponsorship...copies of the things...

So sorry to hear that hoaphuong2013. Its a long battle but you will come out victorious, hang in there.
