We are April 2015 applicant, we finally received an email from CIC that my wife's visa is ready to be issued. Thank God the wait if finally over :)

We just have to question them why they changed my spouse's name on file which is her middle name is missing. We just want to make sure that there will be no conflicts when they issue her visa. Thanks again Eagle333.

That is absurd. My GCMS says security and criminal checks are in progress so I hope it will be done soon so they will ask for PPR and issue a visa right away. Im not really sure how the process works but I guess we just have to be positive :)

Ive ordered ours and they changed my wife's name on file. How can I question why they removed her middle name and who should I contact? I already emailed CIC but I only received a standard email. Thank u in advance

Ive emailed CIC already but we received an email saying they cant answer anything about the status and the only thing we can do is wait and be patience because it is still in normal processing time. So I guess there's no update yet.

It's been 3 months since they requested additional documents. Do you guys know the next steps after this? Is it PPR or straight issuing a visa? I'm going to visit my spouse next month to be with her this xmas, i wish she will get her visa while I'm there :(

We got almost the same thing. They didnt request for the original passport so we didnt include it. We've also emailed CIC and they advised that we didnt have to as they gonna send another letter questing for the original pp to be send.

Got confused.... We have submitted the requested documents and the Appendix A but we didn't attached my spouse's original passport as the letter didn't mention to send it. Should we send it or should we just wait until they request it again? Thanks for the input.

Thank you for your input. Yes, you are right. We should put married status as we are filling out a Canadian form. Visa office is asking cenomar for my spouse to make sure that she is single in the Philippines. Again thank you for clarification.
