    DM on June 12th and still waiting to receive my landing papers.... been 2 weeks on Friday and my full 16 months processing time has passed this upcoming Friday. Really hope it comes through soon! I may give CIC another call on Friday if I've heard nothing by noon.

    It all depends on the agent you get, but DM does still technically mean your application is In Process because they still have to print out your landing papers/send PPR to you. I also called them last Friday as I had DM on June 12th and she said they will send my landing papers very soon and put...

    Feb 26th 2014 Applicant and received DM on June 12th 2015. I am also from a visa exempt country so I shouldn't be getting PPR, I should just receive the landing papers. But sometimes they can ask people from visa exempt countries for PPR, so we shall see!

    I called CIC today and spoke to a very helpful lady who looked into my application and said the decision is positive (yay!) and that my file is currently in Sydney (Nova Scotia) and considering my PR application is now at 16 months she's going to put a memo in to them to remind them to inform me...

    Congrats! I managed to get through the CIC office but they were no use at all, they didn't even bother taking my application number and asked me where my application was being processed... I have no idea, that's why I called them! They gave me no information to help in regards to my application...

    16 months and still waiting.. anyone else?

    Yeah I know the feeling, it's depressing seeing people applying under the new Points System and having their PR already when there is many of us still waiting 16 months later.... my 16 months is up at the end of June so I'm going to hound my Lawyer at the beginning of July to make sure he calls...
