Does land border accept citizenship certificate more readily than flying into say Pearson? I am in the same boat, applied for passport but have not received it. Do have my certificate.

Yes May 7th. All I get on the 800 number is all operators are busy call back at another time.

Travel scheduled for 5/7 so we will see if I get passport or not. Or will try to use citizenship certificate.

I was at Service Canada yesterday and they came outsided before opening and said anyone with travel before May 5th needed and appontment at Service Canada - passport office. The could not help them and would not guarantee the passport in time.

Wonder if the receipt given for mail out is the courier date, since don't they deliver passports by courier? Just did mine at NewMarket and mail out date is 28th of April

Oath completed this morning, longer than others have reported. Was on the call by 7;30 am for a 7:45 am oath and ran until 9am. Finally completed a long journey. Now wait begins for citizenship certificate then passport.

I just attached a separate spreadsheet. But likely will accept your residency calculator. I also had 40 plus weeks a year with entry exits as well so not easy to keep track of everything.

My wife is dual and she has been told a few times to always use US passport entering US. And always use Canadian passport when entering Canada. Once she was told she could face a fine if she did not use the right one. Not sure if that is legitimate or not.

I need to travel back to US for work post my citizenship oath date. Can I travel once i receive the citizenship certificate and just return to Canada on my US passport with Certificate. Since I know I won't likely have my passport before I need to travel. I assume also for this oath I believe...
