OMG just checked Ecas and see decision made on both sides! not sure how long it's been there! No update on the CIC account though, still shows eligibility passed and background check in process!

Hi, No we just saw that it got approved today. I think it takes about 10 days to get the actual permit in mail. I'll send an update as soon as we get it. We had a lot of issues linking as well, I was finally able to link his PR and then the WP. Hopefully you'll hear something soon!

My husband's OWP just got approved! YAY :) Oct 19, 2018 - PR and OWP APP sent Oct 19, 2018 - APP received by CIC Nov 07,2018 - Received AOR Jan 09, 2019 - Received MR Request Jan 10, 2019 - Finished Medical Feb 12, 2019 - OWP Approved!

Just checked again and now it says "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements." fingers crossed! :)

Something really weird happened. I was checking my husband's OWP file and when I logged in, it said file updated, when I clicked on it, there was no update! Has anyone else faced this before?

Hi, Thank you, I was finally able to link both the applications yesterday but I can't find them in Ecas which is really odd!

I think what might impact your application is that if one has applied as inland but stays out of Canada for long period of times. If the time away is a week or two provided that you have the documentation to return back to Canada (Passport and a visa if you require one) and are didn't leave...
