Just to provide some context, once my application was transferred to a different office (Montreal) for further review (April), things started moving along. I had DM about a week after I got a call that my file was being reviewed and an oath notification 6 weeks later

Hi All, I wanted to ask if we're allowed to bring guests to the oath ceremony. If yes, does anyone know if there is a limit to how many guests you can bring? Additionally, how long does the ceremony usually last? If I can bring guests, I want to give them an estimate of how much of their time...

Maybe I'm just skeptical but I would never be able to have that much faith in CIC :)

I would say that you don't need police clearance. It seems like you were only in Abu Dhabi for a handful of days in the 4 year period.

Agree with Canadiandesi2006 You should have no issue entering the US. On your return if you are asked why you're not using your Canadian passport just explain that you've applied for it but still had to travel. I personally know of people who have done that without issue.

CIT 519? Never heard of this one before - What are they asking of you? EDIT: CIT 0519 is the final notice to provide the documents requested in CIT 0520 JJGGG - It looks like the documents you sent did not make it over to the office you sent them. Do you have tracking information? Hopefully...

Based on your observations, what would you make of an applicant that was issued an RQ getting Decision Made on their status? I'm guessing that if the CO was not satisfied with the information provided in the RQ, they would move the decision to a CJ and not mark it as Decision Made? Thanks!
