How come you got nominated when Ontario requires a minimum of 400 points before nomination, and you got 398? Did they lift that requirement?

Does "ECAS in progress" mean the text in ECAS saying "We started processing your application on XXX" or something else?

You can certainly do that. Every provincial nominee is being asked for Schedule 4, so by uploading it proactively you will ensure that your application will be processed faster, because they would be asking for it anyway.

It's probably a silly question, but how do I access my ECAS status? There is a field to enter "Identification number" and I tried entering my EE profile ID there but no luck. MyCIC shows "Medicals passed" so I assume there should be something in ECAS as well?

No, it's still not a formal application. A formal application would include a form to fill and sign, payment for the application and so on. This is just another clarification email they need before they even determine how to run their nomination program. Consider it similar to to creating an EE...

Can you share the details of the formal application, as their website does not contain this information? I assume you got this request as a second email from them (the first being the same as everyone else got - to send detailed work history)?
