At Pearson, the SIN is easily available after the CBSA stamping (at the next counter). I know a friend who got SIN after landing around 8 PM at Pearson.

On the second or third page, check the right top corner. Check if you see ECA# with IMM suffixed.

Also, in case your PCC or eMedical record mentions your old passport number, you may want to explain that as well.

I was in the same situation. In the page where you provide passport details, I added a row with the new passport details - while keeping the old passport details. In the document upload section, I scanned both passports and added LOE.

Same concern for me. You can call the doctor and check whether there was some issue. I just checked with my clinic and was there wasn't any problem. The doctor suggested waiting for some more time before approaching CIC.
