I posted here sometime ago that, they gave my friend some grace period to send in his work permit or else they will make a decision on his application. He just got his work permit last weekend and called the officer, he has been asked to send in the work permit through email, and AINP called him...

They are giving him some time to get his new permit. I don’t think they will issue a certificate with just telling them you have applied. My friend told the officer that, but she said she needs the work permit.

I guess this or latest nex week you will get it. I can only imagine especially when your permit is expiring. I have a friend with the same Noc code as me who applied a week earlier before I did, but his permit expired, in July, but they have given a month to bring in his new work permit, or else...

My post earlier on indicated it’s the case of a friend. Mine is still in process and I have 2 more years on my permit. Probably I will be getting nomination soon. I applied on in December and got my file number on December 21.
