Hi, Yes u must let them know but it doesn't hamper the process as he is already a citizen. May I know when did u sent ur passport for copr? In your ready for visa email they should have given u the email to be sent incase for any updates. Regards,

I am happy to see ready for visa email today. I also sent passport to cic today itself and Canada post mentioned me that it will be delivered on friday. Can anyone pls tell me how long it will take to get my passport back? Cheers, PS: For those who are still waiting for good news be patient...
