    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Thanks for your answers Sophieee and Automaton. I know it is totally absurd. I was luckily able to get the email address for the Etobicoke office from someone in the facebook group, who got a letter with contact information on it. For future reference of anyone in this forum, it is...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Hi, I saw the quote above with the email address for the Vancouver landing office and I was wondering if anyone has the contact information for the Etobicoke office. We are December 2013 applicants and received 2nd stage approval on April 28th. It said in the letter we would be contacted by...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

I forgot to mention, in case anyone is interested, the officer's initials are DPK. I'm not sure if this is happening already, but it would be great if the immigration officer's initials were tracked in the spreadsheets when possible. Because officers have so much discretionary power, people...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

WE JUST GOT SA AND DM!!!!!! We are December, 24 2013 applicants. We never even got AIP, just skipped right to DM. In fact, my partner received her DM email one minute before I received my SA email. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Thank you so much to everyone on this forum - although I...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Can I ask when you did your medicals? We are December 2013 applicants and just did our medicals this April 2015. I am trying to get an idea of how long it takes for a medical exam to register in CIC's system. Thanks!

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

I don't actually know if it's necessary or not. What I found in the CIC instruction manual was this: "Once your medical exam has been completed, the doctor will give you a document confirming that you underwent a medical exam. You must include a copy of that document with your application."...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

From what I have seen of other people's experiences on this forum, sometimes the medical results show up very quickly (within a week or two), other times about a month later, and sometimes not at all - people get a landing notice before the medical results are ever displayed on ecas. I am in the...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Omg guys I just saw someone from the Inland Sponsorship Petitioners FB page say they got AIP and their application was received on DECEMBER 20th! Our application received on December 24th, I think I am going to go crazy from the anxiety/excitement!!

Do you mind me asking what day your application was received?

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

I think that as long as November applicants received AOR at some point, it is pretty unlikely that the files were lost. If people got AOR that means their applications were received, checked to see if they were complete, the applicants were given ID numbers, etc... I think that another scenario...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Bleh, CIC just updated their processing times and according to the sheet they are still stuck on Oct 21, 2013. I don't understand how they could have skipped the end of October and November, be processing applications in December, and yet report being on the same day as last week!

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Wow, that information about blood sugar level is very surprising, considering that spousal applicants are supposed to be exempt from the "excessive burden" requirement. So even if the health condition was serious and would require medical attention (e.g. diabetes), as long as it wasn't a danger...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Hi everyone, Like many others on this forum, my partner and I are nearing the stage where we need to resubmit a medical exam in the hopes of getting AIP and DM close together. I saw a few questions about the medical test and drug testing, but most people here didn't have answers, other than...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Thanks for this! What I am wondering is if EVERYONE has to do fingerprints as a matter of course, or if fingerprints are only requested for some applications? If there is a chance that we will not need to get fingerprints, I'm not sure if I want to spend the time and money. Does anyone else know??

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Hi everyone I have a question about fingerprints. My partner and I are December 2013 applicants, and we have decided to send an update package to CIC in the next month, before they look at our application. The update package will contain things like the results of the medical exam that we...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Hi Tilikun, I saw that in a previous message you said that a refused temporary resident visa (from within Canada or at the Guatemala Canadian embassy ) is not the same as being denied entry into Canada, which just got me worried about my application. I am sponsoring my partner using the inland...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Hi Inlanders, I have a quick question about submitting an application for an OWP. My partner and I applied for sponsorship in December 2013 but we did not submit an OWP with our application, and because my partner has since fallen out of status we don't quality for the new OWP pilot program...

one-year pilot OWP for spouses and common-law partners

I just spoke to a very nice and helpful CIC call centre agent (for once!) and what Ponga said is absolutely correct. My partner and I are in a situation without status: she had status when she applied, but didn't maintain it through a visitor visa and didn't submit an OWP with the sponsorship...

one-year pilot OWP for spouses and common-law partners

In their notice, CIC wrote "CIC will begin issuing open work permits to eligible applicants in the current SCLPC inventory." So I imagine they will start opening a lot of boxes....
