Is IMM 5707 required for online Visa application submitted via IRCC portal?

IMM 5707 (Family Info) is listed in the Document Checklist PDF. But looking at the questions, they are the same as what I've already filled in the online application form. Is the Document Checklist only for paper applications?

    Renounce PR - processing time

Hi all, I submitted an application to renounce the PR status through the Canadian Embassy in Warsaw. The application was delivered 3 months ago. I haven't received any confirmation or communication from the embassy. Has anyone gone through this process recently? If so, how long did it take...

Yes I heard about that number before. I think the govt prefers "skilled migrants" though. I'm not sure if family sponsorship is their preferred category (spousal - maybe; parents and grandparents - definitely not). But it's good to see the govt streamline the processes.. i'm thankful we even...

They haven't been asked for police certificates yet. The medical request came on 4 January 2017 (i got an email from CPC Ottawa) and results submitted within a month. The ECAS has been stuck on "Medical results have been received" for ages.. until recently they added two back-dated status...

Hi all, I just checked the ecas page and the status changed from this: to this: Apparently CIC has sent out some correspondence on August 15, 2016 and January 4, 2017. My parents did not receive anything at their home address. I have been checking the ecas page regularly and these new...

    Sponsoring Parents in 2015

Has anyone tried calling CIC? MyCIC dashboard still says: but there are no messages. So I tried calling the toll free number 1-888-242-2100 and just can't get through to a human. Update: so I finally got hold of an agent after trying to get through for over an hour and they didn't have any...

From what people are reporting, the status is not always up-to-date. See this comment by hbestluck: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/sponsoring-parents-in-2015-t248893.0.html;msg5835694#msg5835694

    Sponsoring Parents in 2015

I just linked my application as well and this is the current status: We sent police certificates in Sep 2016 and medicals early Feb 2017. I don't understand why it still says "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements".. anyone knows what that involves besides the minimum...
