yeahhhhhhhh finally my dad got Passport with PR visa he received a call from CIC & ask him to travel within 5 days as his medical is going to expire so he coming on 22 Feb, exactly after 78 months. I wish all the members get their visa soon.

I understand that their processing time is 61 months but why the fu** they ask for passport if they are not ready for visa. its been almost a year that they are holding my parents passport. I m cursing these A$$ hol$$ every single day.

you need to pay $980 & DON'T FORGET to send the receipt to LVO & CPC Mississauga. make sure they received it to avoid further delays.

thanks Canvis for your wishes but I am really upset, couldn't resist myself to check online status almost every day & getting frustrated after seeing the same status. I have ordered GCMS notes yesterday hopefully get some positive updates this time

yes they do but if you have a File# from Local visa office then you can pay the fees & send receipt's copy to CIC-Mississauga & Local visa office. you definitely saves at least 3 months.

MP doesn't do anything !!!!! my MP told me to wait 59 months for the visa.

hi I am in the same boat my father has two medicals so far & the 2nd one expires by the end of February but I am not gonna take any chances this time we'll wait till January for the visa otherwise we pull the passport out of CHC. my father has a multiple visa until 2018. Screw F#ing CIC.

I spoke with both Chris Alexander's office in Ajax & my MP office in Toronto!! I am really upset with their response. apparently they are shifting files to less busy office in the same country to clear the back log. B.S what a bunch of liars, worst dept ever to deal with.....

they are issuing contradictory information again, I spoke with Minister's office & someone told me that they can hold the passport for 36 months & you cant complaint if the application is within the processing time limit, which is 59 months after the application reached new Delhi.

Please ask him why Indian consulates are holding the passport if they are not ready to issue the visa!! they are holding my father's passport since sep 2012. even though he got 10 years multiple visa he cant leave the country..
