Why does he need to contact local MP ? If CIC sent him an email requesting the Support letter, He needs to take that and send it to MPNP. They will contact the employer and issue a support letter which he can then forward to CIC.

You will have to email CIC for a definite answer when you get your passport request. They will either provide you with an extension to submit passport when you get back or allow you to submit passport in your home country. You have to follow instructions given to you and can't just submit it...

They should extend it based on your AOR and work permit application number.

I don't think you need that form anymore, It used to be IMM5658 or something like that but it's not available on the website anymore. Is it listed in your Document checklist which you generated recently ?

I had everything passed since July 17th including security with a due date of Oct 1, 2016 in first notes i received in August. Ordered them again early October and then sent me exact same notes with a new "generated on" date lol.

Did you have you application assigned to an officer above the due date with group name and number in your GCMS like this guy here ?

How are you so certain that they will cancel his nomination if he's not employer or NOC restricted ? He can simply call AINP and ask about this situation as a general question before giving them any details to begin with.

Well she was lucky and that doesn't happen usually. I went to Carway and was refused because i didn't have a work permit support letter at that time. Went again a week later with Work permit support letter and got my closed work permit valid for a year.

I was gonna tell you the same and just make sure when you apply for BOWP, you send them your PNP certificate(doesn't matter if expired) and AOR letter with rest of the documents.

Sorry but they don't issue BOWP at the border. You can get Closed work permit but your employer needs to pay compliance fee and you need Work permit support letter from province for that to happen.

Sorry to hear bout the lay off. You should be able to apply for PR without a job imo since your nomination doesn't have any restriction and is not tied to a specific job or employer. Just to be sure, call up AINP and ask them about this situation as a general question.

You cannot get BOWP at the border and since you are on implied status, They might refuse you re-entry into canada(edit: I think this depends on whether you need TRV or not to re-enter). You can only get Closed work permit at the border.

You cannot get BOWP at the border, but you can apply again online with all the documents including your PNP certificate. You can still legally work on implied status after your current permit expires as long as your BOWP application is in process. Is there any restriction on your PNP ?

Few months could mean anything, There's alot of applicants from June, July and August still waiting so I assume it is going to be a while for September applicants.

They look similar to my notes received early august, except my primary office is CPC-Ottawa and that due date was Oct 1, 2016.
