    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

My husband finally received his PR card 15 weeks after landing. They sent out a card on March 2nd but it was lost/or stolen in the mail. He filed a statutory declaration on April 16th and included a letter stating that we are supposed to travel this week for a family event and copies of our...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

You are soooo lucky!!! I landed on January 21, 2015 and I still haven't received my card. I have no clue what is going on. My address has not changed so there's no reason for it to be sent to the wrong address. I called CIC and they said it was mailed on March 2. They said I have to wait 6...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Thank you! Yes, I had to sign condition 51. We are common-law and had been living together for 2 years (1 year in the UK and 1 year in Canada) before we applied. BTW we submitted our application in May 2013 so we had to wait 20 months to get to this point.

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

I successfully landed at the Vancouver office today. The landing process was a lot more informal than I anticipated. Our appointment started right on time. The agent that processed my documents was very friendly. We got called up to a booth (not a private room) and were asked to present...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

I have a question for people who have already had their landing interviews. I have my landing interview tomorrow and I am worried about their questions. Many years ago when I was 15 I was fined for graffiti in England and it is still on my police record. I sent a letter to the CIC explaining...

I feel so bad for you! We have been waiting for 11 months for stage 2 and I feel so discouraged. I can't imagine waiting almost 2 years for stage 1! I hope you get a response from them soon!

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

The CIC agent implied that a letter had been mailed to us. We haven't received any emails and our status has not been updated online. I'm not sure what the protocol is for this stage. We have been waiting 10 months for stage 2 approval.

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

A CIC agent told my husband that this we should receive the letter confirming stage 2 results. Everyday we are waiting for the mail to arrive only to be disappointed when the letter doesn't show up. I wish they could just send us an email like they did in Stage 1. :'(

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

My husband was born in England. We applied on May 23, 2013 and a decision has not been made. We are already over the processing timeline. It looks like most people on the spreadsheet who applied at the same time and even a few months after us have been approved already.

My husband and I applied after you on May 23, 2013 and a decision has not been made. It looks like most people on the spreadsheet who applied at the same time and even a few months after have been approved already. I spoke to an agent today and she said they required additional background...

My spouse and I were in a similar situation a few months ago. We applied for his PR through the inland sponsorship program in May 2013. He currently has his open work permit and we are waiting for the final stage of approval to be completed. Anyways, we planned a trip to visit his family in...
