Did you received your passport back ? I am in the same boat as well they close my application yesterday but my CanadaPost Express Post tracking number is still not activated.

I got my letter by mail only (Canada Post) I didn't receive email approval. It looks like they approved on Oct 15 but i received my mail on 24 Oct hope this help and sorry for delay reply. .
