Based on Senior's advice, CIC doesn't give any confirmation email. The first email you will get is PER email :)

Dear singhga, I am a 20th August applicant ( 2173 ) and what I heard from fellow forumist so far is.. I still have chances.. :D as of 8/25, 2172 is only 16 .. so I think there is no way that noc will be filled for fsw-2014 unless all of our database guys start dreaming about the Canadian chicks...
