Applied online 11th July, Status 'open' , no further communication

I have applied online for my visa on the 11th of July, the application read date shows as 14th July 2014. I was asked for furnishing my education documents on the 14th, which I promptly did. After that there has been no change communication. Status of application is "Open".. Any insight/advise...
